The Graduate School of Education

At The Graduate School of Education, Brittany studied dance pedagogy, developed her own thoughts and practices of dance education, and conducted research. She also began to study dance injuries/injury prevention in dance education and presented workshops on the subject with her mentor Hollie Palmisano, ACT, LAT. As an EdM candidate, Brittany served as Secretary of the Rutgers National Dance Educators Organization and was a member of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts.

Mason Gross School of the Arts

At Mason Gross School of the Arts, Brittany studied and developed her technical dance skills as well as her choreographic, improvisation, and analytic skills. As an undergraduate she was involved in the Dance Department's University Dance Work Company, guest artist works, and the works of professors and fellow students. 

 

 

Douglass Residential College (2015)

 

At Douglass Residential College, Brittany completed the Women's Leadership Course: Knowledge and Power that focused on challenges and opportunities confronting women in today’s society. She stayed involved in the close-knit community by living in Douglass housing and participating in the Douglass Traditions of the Sacred Path celebrations, Yule Log ceremonies, and Convocation.
